If you visit walmart.com, you will notice there is a money counter showing how much money Walmart has saved American families since January 1st 2008. It appears they are saving them just under $10,000 EACH SECOND! Are they really saving American families money? Or are they monopolizing over other small business at a rate of almost $10,000 each second? Every day Walmart steals $864,000,000 (not counting the actual price and sale of each product) worth of sales from small businesses. This money goes into the pockets of less and less people. Is this really saving Americans money? Or robbing them?
Since I am drunk and bored, here is what I contacted Walmart with via email:
Firstly, I have went to walmart.com many times trying to see if they stock a particular product (using the search feature). Most of the time this search result will only reveal a bunch of CD's. Lately this has decreased but it still seams as if the search feature is completely useless as it hardly ever returns the product you are actually searching for (even if Walmart does have it). It puzzles me how one of (or even thee) largest companies in the world could mess this up. Anyways..
Secondly, and MUCH more importantly, I have noticed the money counter telling how much money Walmart has saved American families since Jan 1st 2008. At a glance this appears to be positive, but to the non-complete-idiot person you can see how this is a ENORMOUS problem. This "money saved" is a lesser amount than the money TAKEN from American families, reason being that this is money spent at Walmart (going into less pockets, making a small amount of people more rich than they already are) instead of another small business. At a rate of more than $10,000 per SECOND! And much more than $864,000,000 per day.
My real question is: Is Walmart saving Americans more money than it is taking from them (via employment at small businesses vs. employment at Walmart)? I don't expect an answer to this, or an explanation. I'm not an owner of a small business pissed at Walmart. I am just a slightly drunken 22 year old internet entrepreneur that was extremely insulted by this money counter tricking the public into thinking Walmart is helping them when I went to Walmart.com just now. Thanks for your time and if someone could send an actual response to this I would be very suprised.

Thursday December 27th 2007 5:57AM jakez says: thirteen resurrection you snitch bastids
This is the resurrection of the site that used to be at jakez.net. I lost the domain a few years ago, long story, but this is it now th1rt3en.org. I guess you could say it was an E/N site with a hiphop twist? But that's what E/N is.. anyway, I have a lot more PHP knowledge now so I hope I can do more cool shit like I used to when this was my project site.. I decided to revive the site because I was browsing archives of the old one and realized I need a place to rant about the dumb fucks that surround me and other shit. There it is, I wish I could make this post stand out more but can't at the moment, maybe I'll make it a different color later or something later.
Here are some links to the old layouts, R.I.P. :( If you somehow miraculously happen to be one of the original members, you still might see a version of the site older than you knew..

Ups And Downs Of Jay-Z's Def Jam Tenure Chronicled
With Jay-Z stepping down as president of Def Jam ending a nearly four year run, RealTalkNY.net chronicled some of their past comments and verses from LL Cool J, Joe Budden, Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and others questioning Jay's performance. But on the positive side, Fabolous came through with two gold albums, Ludacris pulled multiplatinum on a pair of discs, plus Jay lured in Nas and Jadakiss, while Rihanna was a sales coup in '07 thanks to 'Umbrella' and Kanye West's 'Graduation' had the biggest week of the year.
